At this time we’re in Maine for a week-long return to a favourite place.

For 36 years beginning in 1983 we visited Acadia Nationwide Park each September, solely lacking two years in all that point. However now it’s 2022 and we haven’t been again since 2018.

The ocean, mountains and lakes would be the similar.

However some issues will probably be completely different.

We’ll be shocked by the modifications to companies, buildings and folks we haven’t seen for 4 years although my husband and I’ve modified, too. We’ll discover our personal modifications once we move by tough trails we received’t climb anymore. Happily there are many straightforward trails we’ve by no means walked as a result of we thought they had been “too straightforward” 30 years in the past.

Tomorrow we’ll re-experience a hurricane passing offshore when Hurricane Fiona generates excessive surf and excessive winds on its option to Nova Scotia. Many issues are memorable.
